Ever Faithfull  brings together two divas from across the decades: Marianne Faithfull, Britain’s pop icon known for her whiskey-soaked rasp, the voice of a woman who’s been to hell and back; and Justin Vivian Bond, whose luxurious, woody contralto reveals a lifetime of drinks and cigarettes. What do you get when one icon personifies another? Magic! Following their early 1990’s cabaret debut, the powerhouse that is Justin Vivian Bond has taken on many roles: provocateur, pop chanteuse, Broadway and cinema star, Tony nominee, transgender trailblazer, opera singer, activist, memoirist, and the unforgettable voice of Kiki DuRane of Kiki and Herb. Music Director Matt Ray, a mainstay of the downtown cabaret scene, leads the band. Viv most recently performed at St. Ann’s in Only an Octave Apart with Anthony Roth Costanzo for our first post-pandemic season.
