Refresh your browser window.
Click the refresh icon at the top of your browser window to reload the page: ↻
Then press play again.
Close any applications you are not currently using.
Apps often run in the background and can slow down your video.
Cancel any background downloads.
Make sure you don’t have anything downloading in the background, such as software updates. This also applies to anyone else using the same internet connection/wifi network as you, or other devices in your home (iphone/ipad etc).
Close other video streaming windows.
For example any YouTube, Netflix or Hulu pages you’re not watching. These can take up a lot of extra bandwidth.
Clear the Cache and Cookies.
Your browser keeps track of websites you’ve visited and these extra temporary files can slow things down. To clear your cache and cookies, go to your browser’s settings menu.
Reboot your computer.
This can help re-establish your network connection.
Update your browser.
Make sure you’re using the most recent version of your web browser software.
Check for issues with your network service provider.
Peak times, especially evenings, can overload the network and cause slower or interrupted connections.
Reboot your modem and router.
Unplug both devices, wait 30 seconds and then plug them in again. This can help reset a slow connection.
