As spring buds begin to emerge, we are excited that June is just around the corner– with its balmy breezes and the annual St. Ann’s Warehouse Gala! This year’s festivities are set for Tuesday, June 11th, honoring the extraordinary Mathew Covey of Covey Law, along with Curtis Cravens & Martha Berry, whose unending commitment and invaluable work enables us to bring artists from around the world into the United States and onto our stage. We can’t wait to gather with our dearest friends to celebrate this extraordinary season past and the promise of our fortieth anniversary season coming up! Our annual Gala raises funds to help us continue to bring timely, genuine artistic work to our beautiful waterfront.
The lively evening, Sound Waves: Music Shakes Hands with the World captures rhythms and music from across the globe. Sunny Jain and his band Red Baraat, whose anthem is “to manifest joy,” will be joined by musicians from Tunisia, Zimbabwe, Sudan, and other places, to celebrate the sounds of migrating peoples and cultures coming together. Emel Mathlouthi, Sounds of Refuge (from this season’s The Jungle) and other special guests will add to the colorful patchwork of music.
The Gala begins at 6:15 with cocktails in the Max Family Garden and on the north plaza of Brooklyn Bridge Park, followed by this rich concert and our popular, family-style dinner in the Joseph S. and Diane H. Steinberg Theater. We hope you will share this lovely meal and sparkling tribute to the power of music and its ability to inspire!

Goods and Services associated with the Gala Benefit for attendees are $300 per ticket. The remainder is a tax-deductible contribution to St. Ann’s Warehouse, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
